Mohammadabad (Persian: محمداباد)[a] is a village in Tankaman-e Jonubi Rural District of Tankaman District, Nazarabad County, Alborz province, Iran.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 448 in 115 households, when it was in Najmabad Rural District of Tehran province.[4] In August 2010, Karaj, Nazarabad, and Savojbolagh Counties were separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 781 people in 232 households, by which time the village had been transferred to the new Tankaman-e Jonubi Rural District. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
