Borkhar-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان برخوار غربي)[3] is in the Central District of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Isfahan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Gorgab.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the Central District of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County) was 11,525 in 2,910 households.[5] There were 1,965 inhabitants in 557 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,956 in 592 households. The most populous of its 45 villages was Jahadabad, with 1,347 people.[2]
